Different Variety of Shots for the Day

Slept in! No sunrise shots, but a few random snaps from the area including the local ranch. Some color and black and white. Enjoy.

All the ranch shots were taken with the Nikon 70-300VR lens. What a great and relatively inexpensive piece of glass. Really sharp (even wide open through 200mm). Stopped down to f/8 or f/11 that sharpness holds almost through being racked out. Lots of fun to shoot and the VR keeps it easy to handle.
